not like the brazen giant of greek fame...

hi,
so here i am in the united states... my jetlag has only been a mild one so far. each day is getting a little warmer here in the upstate ny.
when i saw the statue of liberty from my plane i vowed to myself to treat me, one day, a crossing of the antlantic ocean by ship, to be greeted like all those settlers and immigrants so many hundred years ago.
i´m hoping to be able to share some pictures and impressions of my first days here soon.

let the sunshine in

today we had 25° C, which means winter is officially over.
i feel life, light and energy streaming back into my heart, while i enjoy being warmed by the sun for the first time this year. for me the new year really just starts about now, with spring and new life everywhere around me. life has been a bit tough on me last year, but i feel like moving on and really leaving that state right now. in sync with nature i´m ready for some fresh starts.

this is photo i took on that lovely day in paris, when we watched the sun defeat the clouds from the steps in front of sacre coeur. this is the eiffel tower (obviously) in the sunset, after we left the louvre.
