all you need is paul

so... beatlephotoblog did exactly the post i had planned to do, one of john and stu at the beach... i´m just too slow for this place... anyway because i needed something to pull me out of my *grrtodaysjustgrottyiwanttogoburymself*-mood i looked around my paulie-folder. does wonders, does dear paul. a paul pic a day keeps the doctor away, hence anti-depressiva ;D

number one

the beatles reaction to the news of them having a number one single in the us.
these are the biggest versions i could find, i know that some of them are missing. i´ll post them as soon as i find them bigger than thumbnails. the last one is the most famous and it is easy to see why (proportion, composition, contrast...) ... i like the first one best, because john has his legs in the air. yes. that´s why i like it much. :D

enlightment

yesterday i watched an interview with pattie boyd and she was asked what she thinks is important in a photo. she said form and light. i thought about it and being a bit of a photographer myself i found out that for me proportion and contrast are most important. i come bearing a pic where all four, form, light, proportion and contrast mix into something very interesting.

sooo...Enjoy =)

But first only my Abbey Road picture.

Cavendish Avenue comes soon!!

focus, honey, focus...

yes, i have to keep telling myself i have no fav beatle, because i like john and paul equally.
i know how mad this is but somehow i don´t want to just admit that i like john best, strangely i want to like paul more. failing on that i want to love them equally much.
... just realising how weird i am...
i mean how can i prefer one of them when they are both so unbelievable great??? when i see pics like this one of paul i can honestly say that there´ll be always times when i´d prefer paul, cause nobody in the whole wide world could wear such a sweater vest the way paul does. and look amazingly good in it.
so no admitted total john devotion from my part. when it comes to sweater vests he stands no chance :D

paul says save the seals

i got post from paul. well, not quite.
today a mail came, asking me to subscribe a petition to save little cute baby seals. i, of course, have to sign... even if i´m actually a bit annoyed by the fact that i did once, long time ago, sign a paul mccartney petition against landmines and am seemingly in some sort of e-mail folder... yea this is how the internet works, everybody could send you any rubbish as soon as you have an e-mail adress... i even have a blog, doesn´t make it better. but well i´m probably already registered somewhere, since the formula has my full name and where i come from ALREADY on it!! i´m cautious with that sort of thing... i just don´t like it. i´d like to save little baby seals and i´d write my name under a lot of lists... it´s just a bit much that people i don´t know, know when i signed, where i signed it, where i come from, what sort of petitions i sign, just my general political interest. bah. which means anybody could know a lot about me. double bah.
oh and you can win a trip to a seal nursery. is this a way to persuade more people to sign?? is it that bad already? do we need contests to get petitions written and signed... can´t believe it.
but for the sake of the little seal, please do sign. remember white furry, cute seals with huge baby-doll eyes!! can you say no to just your name on some list? NO. here´s the newsletter.
thank you!
by the by, sorry i don´t know why i´m so anti this whole thing... normally i´d go crazy, cause this is a little as if i´m getting a mail from paul!
i once got a card via the beatles official website and in my mail folder it said The Beatles, like it was really from them to me... i think i squeeked when i read that... turned out that it was a friend sending me one of these love(the vegas show) themed cards for my birthday :D
love and peace today especially to the little baby seals.

THE interview

watched it, fell in love with it, annoyed everybody by quoting it all the time. i originally found in on youtube, but strangely it dissappeared after a while. it´s been a long time... long time since then (about forty years or so). i just recently re-found it on an alma warren website :D and there you are! now i´m hoping to go straight, yea. so here´s a literary lion... ehrr lennon.
john lennon interview with some alma antics
make sure you watch it!! it´s rubbish. ;D

with drawings of course.

outfit love

i was pretty late on being interested in the solo years, somehow the time of the 10 years prior to that were absolutely enough for me :D but when i started finding out what the beatles did afterwards i was pretty quickly stumbleing over the expression 'lost weekend' and even more over the different points of view everybody seemed to have on it. i myself am still not completely sure what to think about it, but i can say without any doubts that i love john´s look (or his various looks since he was a chameleon in the 70s) and especially this look.
it´s not really lost weekend anymore, because it wasn´t until much later that he went back to yoko. so it´s sort of post-L.A.-lost weekend and pre-back to yoko.

and here´s john in my second favourite interview of him (in that great outfit). my absolute favourite i´ll post tomorrow... hee :D

Love One Another!

Hi there Beatles-Freaks all over the world!!

Now I'm here to post lots of lovely pictures and informations of George Harrison. I've been collecting pictures long time ago, so I have some awesome snapshots of him^^ First I want to mention, that english isn't my alternative language, so don't be angry if I make some mistakes. I'm only 15 and in the 9th class at school, so I hope you understand.

"Love One Another", that were Georgie's last words. And I think, he was right. Often he said "As long as you hate, there will be people to hate". And this is true, too. Imagine, when all people wouldn't hate, how peaceful our world could be...

Just to look at George makes you feel glad, he was such a dear fella, I think everyone wanted to be his friend.

Okay, to have a good start in this Blog, I post a few pictures of George as a little boy.
They wer
e shot between 1943 and 1959.

I hope you enjoy!!

With Love From Me To You

LittleHarrisonGirl

I don't know if all the things I wrote are correct, so please tell me, if there's something wrong. Thanks =)

Do you know this lad in the middle? It's Paul McCartney, on the right is George. And the left one is George's Brother Peter.

More pictures will come soon !!

Hi there!

that was hallo in good ol´georgie´s words, and from today on this blog has an exclusive george-blogger on board who will hopefully fill the void of good and rare george-pics and info.
i myself have been in a deep george-phase after watching concert for george twice late at night (with a lot of crying and laughing and singing along and then crying again) and 'tubing' the unveiling of his walk of fame-star. somebody who calls so many lovely and interesting people his closest friends, has to be remarkable. even more so when those friends do all these great things for this person and form up as a sort of group of george followers. as a fan all you can think of is: damn why am i not amongst these people... oh yea i remember i´m not half as great ;D
nah just kidding, i just feel happy to be able to be on this world while knowing that the extended beatlesfamily is happy, alive and kicking. gives you a lot as a fan.
anyways got sidetracked... her name is jenny, she commented on this blog long ago and upon discovering that she has more pics of george than me (which i hadn´t thought was possible) i invited her to blog along.
welcome!

and for the rest of you: that happens when you comment XD
luv and stuff!

the real elle woods

i think i have reason to think that britt ekland was the inspiration for legally blond. she was said to be the most stunning blonde around in the 60s.

pattie is bein´a pimp

cigars and booze! YO, määän!

jane asher is mad.

okay, maybe not, but the cakes she sells are... i´ve never seen cakes like that... good gosh!

i´ve been accidentally on her cake site and -- oh my -- those cakes! i think i died of a sugar-shock just looking at them. after that i relieved just to look at them once more and then i died again, this time in shame at the thought of the poor cakes i produce... now i´m back in the land of the living to improve my baking skills. which will take me probably about a hundred years... see you then...

help! part 1 and intermission

my two favourite pics from the time around help
this one i like because of the priceless looks on their faces :D
ringo: gotta... shake that water... OFF!
john: whooo... ufo
george: *blub*... *slursh*... *slips*
and paul is just SCARED!

and this here shows the beatles in a rare moment during the filming routine when they ran out of weed. XD

errr... for you, john

the day george secretly handed some flowers to john...

heee... that sofa again

it isn´t the first time i turn my interest towards this nice furniture instead of the boys, but i´m strangely drawn to it... it´s just funny. i already have complete interiour design concepts built around it in my head... it´s about time i buy a house! i´m rarely distracted by random things in beatles pictures, but this time i go way over the top cause of this stupid sofa... i only post this because of this s... i better stop now and get on with it.

me wants it...

let´s jump the broomstick and leave home

story of melanie coe.
the first encounter of thirteen year old melanie coe with the beatles took place during the filming of ready steady go, where she mimed to brenda lee´s 'let´s jump the broomstick' and paul was there to pick the winner out of four. melanie won and danced at the show for one year.

i first found this a little funny and akward, but then i thought of all those silly casting shows which on tv now... irks.
four years later melanie would inspire the beautiful ballad 'she´s leaving home' on sgt. pepper in 67. at the time melanie was accidentially pregnant and fearing the reaction of her mother she ran away one afternoon (not five o´clock in the morning ;). she and a friend spent a week at bayswater before her mother found her and took her back the family´s home in london. melanie had an abortion later. melanie came from a wealthy family and running away wasn´t very common apparently, because her story became a front page one.
this is were paul mccartney got his inspiration from. a front page article with the photo above and a story of a run-away girl.
i find it fascinating how absolutely random people like her or tara brown get access to musical history and live on forever in the songs written about them. i mean it could have happened to everybody. and i think that´s pretty much what art is supposed to be. stories of people, everything that´s happening to me, to you, to everybody.

mod pattern

sadly i don´t know what exactly pattie models here, but it looks great and gives you a mild feeling of high if you stare really long ... :D

honeymo

ringo and mo during their two day honeymoon.
they couldn´t really enjoy it, cause there was too much press around.

the moon is back

i just wanted to note that the child of the moon is back in action!! i´m very glad, i thought she maybe turned her back on the blogging world, which would have devastated me, cause her blog is pure inspiration for me.
and because there are no real pics i could post fitting this matter, i thought of the moons and their child :Dand because i´ve seen that last one in colour once i know that kim is wearing bright red tights i´m gonna dig up my red tights and get dressed at last! even if i am on holiday it´s a bit late to be running around in pyjamas! :D
luv and stuff :-*

one last try

soo... miss kizzy knew every pattie-pic i posted, but one... and some of them she knew in another version. anyways i´m gonna try one last time, because this time i think it´s really rather rare. we´ll see.
